Immediately he drove inside the house, and came out of
his car, Lisa came to hug him and he pushed her aside
and went and carried amaka to her room and then went
to Lisa and asked her.
Daniel: why did she sleep outside?
Lisa: am also surprised.
Daniel: stop lieing and tell me the truth for God’s sake!
Lisa: why are you shouting at me? I didn’t know that she
slept outside okay! When i went out to buy something
last night she was in her room, so i didn’t bother to
check on her when i came back home, i didn’t know that
she left and she didn’t knock at the gate either, why
would i lock her outside?
Daniel: you want to tell me that she left the house at
night?
Lisa: that girl is trying to set me up cause of the things i
did to her when i came here, she’s trying to make you
hate me.
Daniel: why would she do that?
Lisa: is it not obvious to you that she has feelings for
you?
Daniel: what!?
Lisa: yes, so please i don’t need that this morning,
believe her as usual, nonsense. (She hissed and went
into her room).
Few minutes later, amaka woke up and saw Daniel
standing at her door, he then walked close to her bed
and sat down on the bed and asked her.
Daniel: who sent you outside last night?
Amaka: your fiancé did.
Daniel: she did?
Amaka: yes.
Daniel: why are you lieing?
Amaka: what?
Daniel: why did you risk your own life just to get back at
someone?
Amaka: what are you talking about?
Daniel: or do you have feelings for me?
Amaka: what?
Daniel: stop asking me that as if you’re dumb! Do you
think doing that will make me fall for you?
Amaka: she…..
Daniel: shut up, if you continue this way, I’ll send you
back to your parents!
Amaka: then why don’t you just do that? Yes i agree that i
have feelings for you, but why would i risk my life in other
for you to live her? Am not that kind of person!
Daniel: stop pretending, nothing will ever happen between
us.( he left her room and she started crying)
For two days amaka didn’t attend to Lisa, and the day
she did, Lisa asked her.
Lisa: what did you tell Daniel?
Amaka: nothing.
Lisa: don’t you ever tell him that i locked you outside that
night!
Amaka: i don’t need to, he already believes you, isn’t that
what you wanted? (She said and left the room)…

Things continued that way, Daniel now didn’t have much
time for amaka, Lisa was happy with the way things
were, everything started changing two months later when
Daniel over heard amaka talking with her sister on
phone.
Lisa had gone out early in the morning that day saying
that she’s traveling to see her mum and would be
staying with her for two months, after she left, Daniel got
ready to go out and was going to her room to tell her to
lock the gate, that was when he over heard her.
Amaka: it’s not like, he’s going to believe me anyway.
Voice: who does that witch think she is anyway?
Amaka: let’s just live everything the way it is, he believes
his fiance and not me, i wonder why i would sleep
outside, in the rain, just to get back at her, does it even
make sense?
Voice: tell him again!
Amaka: no i won’t, never! Am even tired of this place.
Voice: then you come home.
Amaka: i will do that very soon, am tired of being
accused.
Voice: I’ll talk to you later.
Amaka: okay then, bye (she cut the call and dropped her
phone and turned and saw Daniel standing at the door,
she got scared immediately)
Amaka: can you just stop scaring me?
Daniel: come and lock the gate.
Amaka: you’re going out?
Daniel: yes or do you want me to stay with you?
Amaka: no!
Daniel: okay then, see you later(he left and she followed
him, he drove out with his car and she locked the gate)

Christian: So that guy is your fiance?
Lisa: yes, am so tired of him.
Christian: what of the girl he lives with?
Lisa: you know her?
Christian: she’s my ex girlfriend.
Lisa: wait, you had another girlfriend while i was away?!
Christian: anything wrong with it?
Lisa: what?
Christian: i mean you’re dating Daniel too.
Lisa: it’s just for the money!
Christian: and mine is just for fun.
Lisa: whatever! I don’t think I’ll stay here with you!
Christian: why?
Lisa: you’re annoying!
Christian: okay am sorry, don’t live.
Lisa: you won’t date any other girl?
Christian: i won’t.
Lisa: better!
Christian: so what do you have for me?
Lisa: am not in the mood to chat with you.
Christian: why? (Hugs her from the back and kiss her
neck)
Lisa: stop that!
Christian: really?
Lisa: yes.
Christian: am not stopping. ( stands from the bed, moves
to the other side of the bed, and kissed her and they lay
down on the bed…..
