JOLLY BOY FREEZE started his musical career while singing and rapping in the secondary school, attended hes primary school in Abuja FCT, While secondary school at Benue state.

 In 2019, JOLLY BOBO and some friends such as #Emmyswagz, #Jeznick, and #Ekyno,formed a group called JEJE. The group's name was a Combination of the first letters of their stage names.
